It was the New Years Eve, my girlfriends and I were counting down in New York City. My first time having Dark and Stormy cocktail at this little famed restaurant The Spotted Pig. The food was so good and pigs did not die in vain, because they utilised every part of the pig. Gladly down more of this cocktail than standing outside smoking a cigarette in the snow pile. Thats my entry level to cocktail at the time, just good rum and ginger ale, I was rather jetlag flying across the globe from Singapore.
3 Ginger Ale
2 ounces Dark Rum
1 lime slice for garnish
How to Prepare
Combine all in a flask and add ice! Garnish with a lime slice. Can you believe it? its that simple but a good rum and ginger ale goes a long way. I switched around with many variations, I prefer this one that I make quite often! Tiny squeeze of the lime slice!
