If you are ever in Lima, this national drink of Peru is a must have. My brief two weeks in Lima was just purely to drink Pisco Sour. Even a simple sandwiches shop serves up amazing Pisco Sour. My other favourite is Maracuya Sour which passion fruit juice instead of lime juice which tasted so delicious. This drink made me fell in love with South America all over again.
3 ounces lime juice
1 ounce simple syrup
2 ounces pisco
A droplet of foamee (or 1 Egg White)
1 dehydrated lime slice for garnish
How to Prepare
Combine lime juice, simple syrup and pisco in a cocktail shaker. Dry shake for 10 seconds and add ice to shake again for 30 seconds. Use a hawthorne strainer to filter any ice when you pour into a coupe glass. Garnish with a dehydrated lime slice.
